Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the relationship between the use of school uniforms and the processes of construction of student identities. This analysis stems from the monitoring and reporting of a formative experience in the figure of workshop developed in Project Pibid (Institutional Program for Initiation of Teaching Experience), of the Degree in Social Sciences at the Federal University of Southern Frontier, in 2014. The workshop was held at the State High School Erico Verissimo, in the municipality of Erechim, RS, and addressed the theme "Identity and Collective Action," from a mobilization of students to use the school uniform.
